Product Description
ZTO Cable OptiTap Drop Cable Assembly features factory-terminated, environmentally sealed, and ruggedized connectors, which greatly reduce both the cost and installation time of drop cable deployment in optical access networks. It provides a robust, weatherproof, and sealed connection solution for Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) applications.
Inside the OptiTap termination, a pre-polished SC/APC connector is housed within a ruggedized OptiTap shell, ensuring durability and reliable performance in harsh outdoor environments. The connector is resistant to extreme temperatures, UV exposure, and water ingress, making it suitable for a wide range of deployment conditions.
Fully compatible with OptiTap adapters, the assembly ensures ultra-low optical insertion loss and high network reliability. It can be configured with SST cables, ROC flat cables, or traditional round OSP cables, providing a flexible solution for direct burial, conduit, or aerial installations.
