Description
The Unitube Non-metallic Non-armored Fiber Optic Cable GYFXY typically contains a limited number of optical fibers, ranging from a few to several dozen, depending on the specific application and required capacity. The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. Over the tube. water-blocking material is applied to keep the cable watertight. Two parallel Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) are placed at the two side. The cable is completed with a polyethylene(PE) sheath.

FAQ
UNITUBE ADSS uses a single central loose tube to house the optical fibers, surrounded by aramid yarn strength members and an HDPE outer jacket. This compact design is lighter and more cost-effective than stranded ADSS for smaller fiber counts (2-24 cores).
Ideal for short-span (50M-150M) distribution lines, rural FTTx backbone, and campus networks. The compact unitube design reduces weight and wind load on existing poles.
