Bridging the Digital Gap | ZTO CABLE’s Field Mission to Kenya

In November 2025, the ZTO CABLE team touched down in Kenya, the “Gateway to East Africa,” for a multi-week series of deep-dive customer visits. This mission was driven by one core goal: to step out of the office and into the field to truly understand the infrastructure needs of the African market.

Real Insights from the Field

During our time in Kenya, we did more than just attend meetings. Our team conducted field inspections of existing communication lines throughout Nairobi. Seeing the local installation environment firsthand allowed us to understand the unique challenges—such as high humidity and complex terrain—that local networks face.

Based on these observations, we were able to provide tailored recommendations, emphasizing the durability of our ADSS cables and Armored Direct-Buried cables, ensuring long-term reliability for local connectivity.

“Hands-On” Quality Demonstrations

Nothing builds trust like seeing the product up close. During visits to various local ISPs, our physical samples—ranging from FTTH terminal boxes to low-attenuation drop cables—were put to the test. Partners were invited to inspect the cable structures and material quality themselves. As we always emphasize: ZTO’s promise of 100% testing on every drum isn’t just a marketing slogan; it’s a standard we carry in our suitcases to every corner of the world.

More Than a Supplier, a Partner

From office discussions to site inspections under the Kenyan sun, the smiles and handshakes captured in our photos represent the start of something bigger. We aren’t just here to sell cables; we are here to support Kenya’s rapid digital growth.

As Kenya continues to lead the region in digital adoption, ZTO CABLE remains committed to providing the “Top Quality” backbone needed for a more connected future. We look forward to seeing our cables power more homes and businesses across East Africa.
