The NK2800 Mini Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) features a compact and portable design. It incorporates a 3.5-inch high-definition touchscreen with multi-touch support for smooth operation. The device integrates multiple functions including OTDR, Event Map, Optical Power Meter, Visual Fault Locator (VFL), and flashlight, meeting diverse testing requirements across various scenarios. The OTDR function utilizes a 1550 nm wavelength and features a built-in high-efficiency wavelength isolator, enabling live fiber testing on 1490 nm and 1577 nm links. It supports live fiber testing capability up to approximately +10 dBm, with a maximum measurement range of 80 km.
The NK2800 is designed to measure fiber length, attenuation, splice quality, and other parameters. It can easily test fiber link breakpoints, bends, and loss points, making it suitable for installation and maintenance personnel for line maintenance and emergency repair testing.
