Description
OPGW cable (optical ground wire) is a type of fiber optic cable that is used in overhead power lines. Fibers for OPGW are single mode type. The Aluminum tube is surrounded by single or double layers of aluminum clad steel wires(ACS) or mix ACS wires and aluminum alloy wires.Good anti-corrosion performance.Material and structure are uniform, good resistance to vibration fatigue.

FAQ
PBT OPGW uses PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) loose tubes instead of stainless steel tubes. PBT tubes are lighter, more cost-effective, and provide excellent fiber protection for standard transmission line applications.
PBT tubes offer good chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and easier handling during installation compared to stainless steel tubes. They are a cost-effective choice for standard voltage transmission lines (35kV-220kV).
