GYTA53 is a double-jacket, double-armored stranded loose tube fiber optic cable specifically engineered for the most demanding outdoor environments. At its core, the cable utilizes high-quality optical fibers protected by jelly-filled PBT tubes, combined with a corrugated steel tape (PSP) armor and dual-layer Polyethylene (PE) sheaths. This rugged construction provides an impenetrable barrier against moisture and exceptional crush resistance, making it the ideal solution for direct burial in the challenging geological conditions of the Mongolian plateau, where frozen soil expansion and heavy ground pressure are constant threats.
In the telecommunications infrastructure project in Mongolia’s Sükhbaatar Province, ZTO CABLE’s GYTA53 was deployed to ensure reliable, high-speed connectivity across the vast, rodent-active steppe. The corrugated steel armor specifically addresses the threat of local rodents and marmots, while the cold-resistant PE jackets are formulated to maintain peak performance during extreme temperature fluctuations, reaching as low as -45°C. Compliant with rigorous IEC 60794 standards, our GYTA53 solution provides the critical durability needed for long-haul backbone networks, ensuring a maintenance-free lifespan of over 25 years in one of the world’s harshest climates.
